Diversity at PASS Summit

PASS Data Community Summit aims to create an inclusive conference and foster a community where everyone can succeed and thrive.

Our global community is made up of data professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. Although the list cannot be exhaustive, at our conference we explicitly honor diversity in age, gender, gender identity and expression, culture, ethnicity, language, national origin, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, physical and psychological differences, and technical ability.

We'll share more information about the actions we're taking at this year's conference later in the year, but in the meantime, you can find out more about our approach to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging here.

Everyone attending PASS Summit is also expected to abide by the Code of Conduct, to ensure the conference remains a safe and welcoming place for all.

Scholarships

We've recently launched two brand-new initiatives which are designed to help make the event as accessible as possible for as many as possible. These Scholarships allow those who may not ordinarily get to attend the conference to experience the magic of PASS Summit for the very first time.

The PASS Summit Futures Scholarship offers support for 10 students and early-career professionals, and will provide each lucky winner with a complimentary 3-day ticket to this year's event, plus US$2000 each to cover additional expenses such as travel and accommodation.

The PASS Summit Charitable Organization Scholarship offers support for 16 individuals working in the charity sector who may have access to limited learning and development budgets, providing each lucky winner with a complimentary 3-day ticket to PASS Summit 2024.

How to connect with peers

Attendees at PASS Summit are a friendly and welcoming community. The connections you make here can unlock doors and create connections that last a lifetime. We'll share more information later in the year on how to network and connect with peers prior to PASS Summit taking place in November.

Once you're on site, the Exhibit Hall is a great place to hang out during break times to meet vendors and network with other attendees. Meet your data hero after their session, have an informal chat in the hallway, or stop by the Community Zone throughout the day to grow your network and get answers to those questions you've been dying to ask.

There will also be plenty of fun community-led and vendor-run events taking place during the week. We'll regularly update our website and mailing list throughout the year to announce these events.
